Building for Youth

As an established leader in innovative arts and youth development, the Bellevue Youth Theatre continues to grow.

Participation in our program doubled from 2004 to 2008 and we have long outgrown the capacity of our current home in the Ivanhoe School building. With extraordinary support from the City of Bellevue and the 2008 Parks Levy, a new home for the Bellevue Youth Theatre is now within reach.

The Bellevue Youth Theatre Foundation is leading the Building for Youth Capital Campaign to raise $1.2 million to complete the new theatre. With the new facility, we will double the number of program participants, increase audience attendance and enhance the BYT experience for participants and audiences alike.

Renovations to the existing Ivanhoe facility will improve rehearsal and production space for the BYT program and assist emerging arts groups to grow and build their audiences, further strengthening the Eastside arts community.

The Building for Youth Capital Campaign invites you to help build a vital space where more youth can participate, learn and thrive. Be a part of this important effort and give to the campaign today.
