Auditions
Auditions at BYT are fun and low stress. Come and have fun trying out for a show! Everyone who wants to be in a show gets a part.
SUMMER AUDITIONS
Pre-registration is not allowed. YOU MUST AUDITION TO BE IN OUR PLAYS. Auditions are open to ages 8 and up only. There is no need to prepare anything for the audition. Participants 18 and older will be required to fill out a Washington State Patrol background check. These are good for one year. Call 425-452-7155 for further information.
Summer auditions will be held at the Bellevue Youth Theatre on June 15 & 16 from 5-6:30 pm.
Fees:
8-18: $0 (R) / $85 (N)
19+*: $35 (R) / $120 (N)
* Please note: Adults are charged an additional $35 regardless of residency. Exceptions to the adult fee: students (19-24 only), disabled adults, senior citizens and active registered volunteers who volunteer for 10 or more hours for the show they are participating in.
Girl Power
Bellevue Youth Theatre presents an original play about the struggles and successes that young women face in life. Set in an all girls school, the girls are given a famous woman from history to research and in the process find out how that woman is like them and how they can all work together to become strong and successful women. Great roles for teen girls.
Rehearses 3:30-5:30 pm at Bellevue Youth Theatre beginning June 29. This show will perform at the Bellevue Youth Theatre July 31-August 9
Dr. Doolittle
This show offers wonderful opportunities for everyone who participates, including children, and families. There are great singing and non-singing roles.
Rehearses 5:30-7:30 pm at Bellevue Youth Theatre beginning June 29. This show will perform at the Meydenbauer Theatre August 14-16.
